    Description

    A quart jar with label "BENGAL MIXED GHERKINS PACKED FOR TILLMAN & BENDEL SAN FRANCISCO". Jar is good, no chips or cracks except roughness on inner top rim. Label is all there with minor paper loss. No lid. Mold line ends in neck so top was hand applied. Circa 1890's or early 1900's.
