Thespesia populnea. Milo is one of the great Hawaiian woods, nice heartwood sapwood contrast, pinks and oranges in the heartwood age to a chocolate brown. I got this wood  in a log form from a dealer in Hawaii, these pieces were to small for me to use in my artwork,air dried for two years,fully cured. Satisfaction guaranteed !
