1950s Vintage Winn Dixie Darling Duraglas Glass Mayonnaise Jar Metal Twist Lid.
1954-1955 vintage 1-Pint Dixie Darling mayonnaise jar. Dixie Darling was a brand of Winn-Dixie grocery stores for staples such as mayonnaise, peanut butter, cooking oil, salad dressing, and sandwich spreads.
Jar is in great shape considering age, with no cracks or chips. Original paper label still affixed to front. This is an uncommon item and very hard to find.
Packed by Southeastern Foods, Inc. in Brundidge, Alabama.
This jar can be dated by the expiration date on the label of 2.20.55 (pictured). It is also a Duraglas branded jar with number/letter markings on bottom. Top of metal lid is stamped with a “29”.
